They look like the happy couple to the unsuspecting eye but if you look closer you might see the traces of the frustrating years. If you look a little closer you might see the traces of her many tears.
Things are not always what they seem. When they are out smiling for all of their friends and family to see. Affectionately holding hands like love struck kids but if you look a little closer you just might see that he is holding hers but she is not holding his.
Yes love is not always what it appears to be.
Behind closed doors there is probably some pain and suffering.
Sure there are and were happy times but life pulls at the fringes of the relationships nerve end.
Pulling and stretching, testing time and time again.
So when you see the happy couple don’t somehow wish that you were them because you never know what’s behind the smiles and the laughter my friend.
Sometimes it’s just a fasade to hide what truly lies within.
